The owner of Grills Nai-Harn, the affected restaurant, posted video evidence online and appealed to the public for help in identifying the pair. She stated, “Has anyone seen this foreign couple? They may stay in Soi Naya. A few days ago, they came with a mat and smoked ganja in my restaurant. They came again on Sunday and [swam] in my pool like [its] their own home. Let me know if you find them.”
The confrontation was captured on video, showing a restaurant worker confronting the couple and warning them about repeated trespassing. The employee informed the couple that their actions had been recorded previously and threatened to involve law enforcement if they returned. In response, the foreign man replied in Thai, saying, "sabai sabai," urging the staff to relax. However, the employee insisted the situation was serious, prompting the couple to apologize and leave the property
