Chile has kicked off the Chile-Asean Business Summit 2026 in Bangkok, marking one of its largest trade promotion events in Southeast Asia this year. The five-day summit, organized by ProChile under Chile's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aims to foster connections between top Chilean exporters and key players in the ASEAN food industry, including importers, retailers, and distributors
The summit features a range of activities such as business meetings, networking sessions, and participation in THAIFEX-Anuga Asia, one of the continent's largest food and beverage trade exhibitions. During the opening "Chilean Flavours Dinner" at Novotel FuturePark Rangsit, ProChile Director General Ignacio Fernández highlighted Chile's commitment to strengthening long-term trade relations with both Thailand and the wider ASEAN bloc.
