Central Embassy in Bangkok has transformed its space into "The Living Ground: Hope's Garden," a lively picnic garden combined with an interactive art exhibition. This unique collaboration between artist Vachboy, known for his neo-pop flower character Hope, and experiential design studio Eyedropper Fill invites urban visitors to reconnect with nature and themselves through blooming flowers and engaging artworks. The installation runs until June 7, offering a refreshing blend of art and nature in a bustling city environment.
The centerpiece is a 5-meter tall sculpture of Hope, crafted in a purple gradient that combines natural and surreal elements. Visitors are encouraged to hug the sculpture, which triggers a joyful transformation of lights and expressions on surrounding flower characters, symbolizing the shared and spreading nature of hope. Beyond this, guests can engage with various flower companions and participate in creative workshops, including sessions led by Vachboy to design personalized lifestyle items from May 29 to 31.
Additional attractions include an immersive musical experience featuring DJ Vinyl from June 1 to 4, followed by a pop-up vinyl store and live DJ sessions from June 5 to 7. The event also showcases "Hope Makers Market By Happening," offering art and lifestyle products from over 50 creators, alongside "Craft The Earth By Qualy," an exhibition of paintings and sculptures by 15 contemporary Thai artists. A sustainable market and interactive workshops on eco-friendly living run through June at the Open House on the 6th floor, enriching the experience with environmental themes.
