Koh Samui welcomes its first Engineering Lab designed for young minds aged 7 to 17. This innovative program aims to go beyond basic tech use, encouraging children and teens to understand, apply, and create with modern technologies. Participants will dive into areas like 3D modeling, coding, AI applications, and hands-on engineering projects, fostering critical thinking and creativity.
The lab is led by engineer Evgeny Popov and offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes working with 3D printers, developing apps through Vibe Coding, and collaborative project defense. This hands-on approach ensures participants not only learn new skills but also gain confidence in teamwork and problem-solving.
An introductory meeting for parents and children will be held at the COSMOS space within the club “СРЕДА” on July 15th. Sessions are split by age groups, with younger kids at 11:00 and older children at 13:00. Attendees can explore the program details, see project examples, and ask questions to decide if the lab fits their interests. A laptop or tablet is required to participate, and the fee is 300 THB.
