TTM+ 2026 connected 429 international buyers with 428 Thai sellers, plus over 100 media representatives, facilitating more than 15,400 business meetings. The event emphasized responsible travel through the “Travel with Care” initiative, featuring zones dedicated to nature care, self-care, and cultural care, alongside presentations of certified tourism standards promoting transparency and quality.
Sustainability was a core focus, with measures such as reduced printed materials, waste separation, recycling, and surplus food donations supporting Thailand’s goal for Net Zero Tourism. Post-event tours extended business opportunities to regions like Rayong, Chiang Rai, and Surat Thani, linking local communities with tourism income and new itineraries.
Looking ahead, the next TTM+ will be held in Khon Kaen in 2027, continuing to foster sustainable and wellness-oriented tourism across Thailand. For those living on or visiting Koh Samui, these developments reflect Thailand’s growing emphasis on meaningful, responsible travel experiences that benefit both visitors and local communities alike.
